ACMH in Japan!

It was never the plan for the journey to be a working one. Chris had been booked to DJ in Tokyo and had intended to stretch out the trip to hang out for a few days and, as such, was joined by long-time friend and collaborator Benjamin Eagle, but the plan quickly escalated. One week quickly became three, and equipped with Camera equipment and the ACMH samples for some ad-hoc shooting, it wasn’t long before the dream of Onsens and Temples was replaced with a daily regime of stopping strangers in the street for photos of them in our T-Shirts. This unexpected shift led to beautiful interactions with the locals, making our way through every clothing store in the Tokyo and Kyoto and leaving no stone left unturned in the name of market research.

Here's a photo diary of a unique cultural exchange that took place when some of Japan's unsuspecting youth encountered two gesticulating tourists armed with clothes and cameras on the quest for content. Eager to capture the essence of Japanese street fashion, Ben & Chris found themselves in impromptu photo shoots with the locals, creating a beautiful blend of London and Tokyo styles.
